Valet & sale preperation

• Pre-Spray & pressure wash wheels & tyres

All visible areas of the wheels/trims, including bolt recesses, are clean of surface road dirt, tar and brake-dust.

• Pre-Spray & pressure wash visible areas of arches

Dirt, mud and loose debris is cleaned from all visible areas.

• Pre-Spray, agitate & pressure wash exterior of vehicle

This includes the removal of any bug residue from front facing areas, degreasing of bottom sills, grills and chromes and lower bumper areas, removal of moss and other such debris from trims, window rubbers and scuttles, and finally sponge/wash-mitt application of shampoo to the entire exterior prior to final rinse.

• Leather dry all bodywork, glass & shuts

All exterior bodywork and glass leathered dry and made free from dirt & grease. Door shuts, all sills, B & C pillars and outward facing door tops and edges, tailgate edges and accessible boot aperture are dried and all surface dirt removed.

• Remove all rubbish

Any rubbish/items not directly relating to the vehicle, are removed with all door & seat pockets, storage compartments and luggage areas checked. Any obvious personal or valuable items are stored securely and the vendor will be notified.

• Remove all window stickers

Any vinyl stickers on glass not directly relating to the vehicle are removed. Any glue residue will be removed with a solvent wipe.

• Vacuum visible interior surfaces

Visible areas of the cabin carpets (with seats in a neutral position), seats (with additional seating upright), boot carpets, parcel shelf, door pockets & open storage compartments are vacuumed and all loose debris is removed.

• Quality Control

Independent check to ensure that all elements of the specification have been carried out in full and to the agreed SLA.

• Remove road tar

All road tar removed from exterior bodywork by using solvent tar remover or an alternative.

• Pre-Spray, agitate & pressure wash wheel arches

All visible areas made free from dirt, mud & debris.

• Pre-Spray, agitate & pressure wash wheels & tyres

All visible areas of the wheels/trims including bolt recesses are cleaned of road dirt, tar and brake-dust. Tyre walls and tread should be free from mud and dirt where possible.

• Pre-Spray, agitate &
  pressure wash engine compartment

The underside of the bonnet, hinges, bulkhead, scuttle, bonnet jams, and front panel are cleared of grease, dirt and debris. Top surfaces of the engine block, plastic casings, hoses and mounts are also made free of dirt and grease with attention paid to avoid water ingress to sensitive areas and components.

• Pre-Spray, agitate &
  pressure wash door & boot shuts & fuel filler cap

Dirt and grease is removed from all areas of the door edge including the door shut, hinges front and back, sill and kick-plate. Fuel flap, cap and surround, including EV charging points are also cleaned.

• Pre-Spray, agitate & pressure wash exterior of vehicle

Removal of any bug residue from front facing areas, degreasing of bottom sills, grills and chromes, and lower bumper areas, removal of moss and other such debris from trims, window rubbers and scuttles. Application of ‘wash and wax’ shampoo with a sponge/wash-mitt to the entire exterior prior to final rinse.

• Leather Dry all pressure washed areas

Shuts, engine compartment, fuel filler cap and all exterior bodywork and glass is leathered dry and made free from dirt & grease.

• Remove all rubbish

Any rubbish or items not directly relating to the vehicle, is removed. All door & seat pockets, storage compartments and luggage areas are checked.

• Remove all window stickers

Any vinyl stickers on glass not directly relating to the vehicle are removed. Any glue residue is removed.

• Clean & detail all interior hard surfaces

All trim (including tonneau covers), storage compartments, pockets, seat surrounds and runners are cleaned and made free from dirt, dust, stains and grease. All switchgear, vents and joints in trim are brushed clean and dust & dirt is removed.
A light dressing should is applied evenly to hard surfaces after cleaning ensuring any excess residue is removed.

• Clean carpets & upholstery

Carpets (including floor mats), parcel shelf and seat upholstery is cleaned and free of stains.

• Vacuum full interior

All carpets, upholstery, storage compartments and pockets are thoroughly vacuumed. This includes beneath front and rear passenger seats, any additional seats and seat storage wells. Additional seating is left in the upright position and all other seating is presented in a neutral position. All loose debris is removed with carpets and upholstery free from pet hairs and any other contaminations.

• Wipe clean & vacuum spare wheel-well

Remove boot carpet and clean the visible surface of the spare wheel and surrounding storage area. Any loose debris is removed and the bot carpet is replaced in the correctly fitted position.

• Clean all interior glass

Including all interior window glass, sunroofs, rear view and vanity mirrors, media screens and instrument binnacles. Glass will be presented as dry & free from dirt, streaks and smears.

• Replace all documents

Any remaining documents/book packs directly relating to the vehicle are in the glove box or front passenger seat.

• De-odourise cabin

Odour neutralizer is sprayed into the cabin.

• Clean all exterior glass

Including all exterior window glass, sunroofs, rear view mirrors and light covers. Glass will be presented dry & free from dirt, streaks & smears.

• Dress all exterior trim, tyres & wheel arches

A vinyl dressing is applied to all exterior vinyl trim, visible areas of vinyl wheel arch coverings and tyres.

• Apply & remove wax to paintwork & brightwork

All exterior painted surfaces and brightwork trim are waxed and all residues are removed.

• Detail shuts, engine
  compartment & trims

All painted surfaces to door/boot shuts and engine compartment are dried, buffed and free from grease or dirt. Hoses, cables and plastic trim to engine components are dressed with any excess dressing removed. Trims to grills and exhaust pipes are also dried, free from dirt and dust and polished or dressed as applicable.
