CW Assured provides a clear and concise appraisal of vehicle functions at the point of appraisal by our NAMA trained vehicle inspectors.
With CW Assured you can bid with peace of mind that if you discover a function does not match the CW Assured Report, you can contact our partner, Assurant, to make a claim and discuss remedial actions.
CW Assured is provided on all vehicles sold in our auctions as long as:
- It is less than 12 years old
- It has done fewer than 130,000 miles
- It has a CAP Clean monthly value of less than £40,000 at time of purchase
The CW Assured report details the following vehicle functions and advises on the status of this function with either a Pass, Advisory or a Fail.
Engine Compartment
- Evidence of oil leaks
- Excessive engine noise
Exterior
- Excessive smoking from the engine bay or exhaust
- Operation of lights
Interior
- Operation of sunroof / blind / pan roof
- Operation of clutch pedal
- Operation of instrument gauges and horn

How do I view the report?
CW Assured reports are displayed against each vehicle offered for sale with CW Assured.
The operational condition of vehicles offered with CW Assured are also highlighted on our catalogues with a symbol denoting the status of the checks, giving you a quick snapshot of the vehicles status:
All clean. No advisories or failures | |
At least one advisory and no fails | |
At least one fail and any number of advisories | |
Not Assured as the vehicle falls outside of the qualifying criteria |

Details of the reasons behind any Advisory or Failure are detailed on our vehicle inspection reports.
Registered trade buyers can submit a CW Assured claim or our partner, Assurant, by logging in to your online account and completing the online form, along with submitting evidence of the discrepancy between the CW Assured report and the vehicle operation.
Claims can be made:
- Within 2 days (or up to 500 miles whichever comes first) of the vehicle leaving Cazoo Wholesale
- Within 2 days (or up to 500 miles whichever comes first) from vehicle acceptance if the vehicle is being delivered by Cazoo Wholesale
