Cazoo Wholesale, the UK’s fastest growing digital remarketing supplier, has shown its commitment to decarbonising the automotive industry by achieving Electric Vehicle Approved (EVA) status.

The accolade has been developed by the National Franchised Dealers Association (NFDA) alongside the UK Government’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles and the Energy Saving Trust, and has been achieved just 18 months since the Cazoo Wholesale brand was launched.

In a clear sign of Cazoo Wholesale’s environmentally focused ethos and mission to develop leading remarketing solutions, it becomes only the second remarketing company in the UK to achieve EVA, well ahead of many long established providers.

The EVA status was awarded following investment in electric vehicle infrastructure and expertise at the companies remarketing centres including the installation of new charging points, comprehensive staff training, buyer awareness and education on the transmission to zero emission vehicles, and the increased use of technology designed to reduce the carbon footprint across the defleet and disposal process.
